Craving Something Different?

Elementary Program

Change is FUN!

This program is essential for elementary-aged children because it lays the foundation for healthy emotional and social development. By learning about emotions, relationships, diversity, responsible decision-making, and self-management, children will be equipped with the necessary tools to thrive both in and outside of the classroom. With our program, we strive to empower children to become confident, empathetic, and responsible individuals.

What is SEL?

SEL At Work

Social Emotional Learning (SEL) is a process of developing skills that allow children to recognize and manage their emotions, establish positive relationships, and make responsible decisions. SEL is important for young children as it helps them build a strong foundation for their social and emotional development, which in turn supports their academic achievement and overall wellbeing

Social Emotional Learning (SEL) and mental health education are crucial topics for the wellbeing of young children. By introducing children to the five core competencies of SEL, we can help them develop important skills that will benefit them throughout their lives.

5 Core Competencies of SEL

Benefits of Social Emotional Learning

People with strong social-emotional skills are better able to cope with everyday challenges and benefit academically, professionally, and socially. From effective problem-solving to self-discipline, from impulse control to emotion management and more, SEL provides a foundation for positive, long-term effects on kids, adults, and communities.
